MC-Quell

MC-Quell is a hydro-swelling waterstop for construction joints based on ductile-flexible acrylate polymers. This swelling rubber gasket can store water inside their molecularly structure by volume expansion. With water contact it develops a three - dimensional volume expansion without a change of the homogeneous structure of the polymer matrix. By expansion, the TPE-swelling rubber profile will be pressed on the surrounded surfaces and thereby seals up construction joints against water diffusion. Flushing out of swelling absorber-material caused by changing water levels and partially dry areas is impossible. Easy combination with other Waterstop systems is possible.
